Arne Lijbers presents 'From Train to City' at 'Architecture in the Foyer' virtual event

The international presentation series “Architecture in the Foyer” is dedicated to authentic insights from architects. Their philosophy and projects are the central focus of the day. Arne Lijbers, Partner/Architect at Mecanoo, will present 'From Train to City: People, Place, Purpose, Poetry' at the 'architecture in the foyer' virtual live event on Friday, 29th September from 14:00 to 15:00 hrs UK time.
Arne graduated from the Technical University of Delft, Netherlands, in 2011. Since starting at Mecanoo in 2012, he has rapidly developed his design skills with distinctive energy. His main areas of interest are innovative living, working, and educational environments.
Arne specializes in translating complex project briefs into tangible designs. Currently, Arne is a project architect for a wide range of projects of different scales, from urban planning to furniture design. His assignments include innovative programmatic layouts, such as a masterplan for 2100 dwellings in Haarlem, the Rabobank Advice Centre in Sittard, the Erasmus Campus Student Housing, LocHal Library in Tilburg, and the interior design for the Train of the Future.
Arne's presentation is part of the 'Architecture in the Foyer' international event on 28-29 September, hosted by Solarlux. This event is an excellent CPD choice for RIBA Chartered Members to expand their knowledge and gain authentic insights from renowned international speakers about their philosophy and projects, from both small and large architectural firms alike. Additionally, the event encompasses the Design Educates Awards.
