Exploring innovative workspaces: Architect Arne Lijbers headlines Workspace Design Show 2023

Workspace Design Show brings together the Benelux workplace interiors community to explore the future of workspaces from October 11 to 12, 2023, at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.

The session, titled 'The Magnetic Workplace: How to Transform the Office into a Place Workers Want to Be,' will be moderated by Robert Thiemann, Founder & Director at FRAME Publishers, and will feature Arne J. Lijbers, Partner/Architect at Mecanoo, Rick Rijkse, Partner at Fokkema & Partners Architecten, and Daniel Jongtien, Partner at Benthem Crouwel Architects.

Arne joined Mecanoo in 2012 and has since honed his design skills with a distinct energy, reflecting his vibrant personality. He engages in creative and user-centric designs from the inception of a project, spanning various scales, including mobility, urban planning, and interior design. Notable projects in his portfolio include the Unilever Benelux Headquarters in Rotterdam, the residential Brink Tower in Amsterdam, and the International Quarter in London.

His multidisciplinary, analytical, and sensory-driven design approach ensures the seamless integration of complex information and processes, resulting in both flexible and tailored solutions. Arne's hands-on approach is evident throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the initial concept to the delivery of state-of-the-art buildings.
