Francine Houben to speak at Rotterdam's "Make It Happen" 10-year anniversary celebration

Francine Houben, founding partner and creative director of Mecanoo, will deliver an inspiring keynote at the 10-year jubilee of the Rotterdam brand alliance Make It Happen. The celebratory event will take place on Tuesday, 3 December 2024, at Hogeschool Inholland, Posthumalaan 90, Rotterdam, from 17:00 to 22:00.

The event marks a decade of collaboration, growth, and innovation that has positioned Rotterdam as a dynamic, forward-thinking city. Houben’s keynote will reflect on Rotterdam’s achievements, drawing from her extensive experience in shaping urban landscapes, and offering a visionary perspective on the city’s future.

The programme will celebrate partnerships with organisations such as Hogeschool Inholland, Albeda, Zadkine, Codarts, Around010 Events, and Erasmus MC, featuring a lively mix of music, dance, and acrobatics. A plenary session will highlight key milestones in Rotterdam’s development, culminating in the signing of a new five-year collaboration agreement for the brand alliance.

The evening will close with a walking dinner and networking celebration, fostering further connections among Rotterdam’s visionary leaders.
